Where do we look for hope in time such as this? Every day we rise to face more bad news about the economy and the world situation.

Who can provide answers? Our top leaders are perplexed and almost to the point of being frantic about what to do next. Nothing seems to be working that they have tried so far in respect to fixing the economy.

Paul begins 2 Corinthians 4 with the words "we do not lose hope" and he ends the chapter with the same words. In between he give us a clue to finding hope in a time such as this: "But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us." (4:7 NIV)

Every true believer has resident within him the power to restore hope to this world, it is the power of the Holy Spirit. Unleash that power today in this service. We all need it.
